7.5 MONTH OLD GIRL symptoms began at 4 months of age when a respiratory tract infection led to cough and wheeze. Seen in an emergency department; A chest x-ray suggested peribronchial thickening, hyperinflation. A diagnosis of bronchiolitis was made and treatment was started with antibiotic, oral steroid and nebulized salbutamol admitted to hospital and managed with nebulized budesonide and salbutamol. Discharged on the same medication. Continued budesonide, 1 mg per day with nebulized salbutamol and one month ago, switched to Fluticasone 50mcg, 2 puffs bid by maskaerochamber.
